Kuznetsov's applicator for osteochondrosis in the neck

01.08.2021

Osteochondrosis belongs to the category of diseases that frighten with the prospect of their development and have very unpleasant symptoms, which are already manifested even in adolescents. The most characteristic "bell" of the problems that have begun is severe pain in the neck and back.

The applicator or, as they sometimes say, the Kuznetsov indicator is used not only for osteochondrosis of the cervical region. It is well suited for the treatment of the nervous and respiratory systems, but it is in the treatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system that it manifests itself in the best way.

General information about the Kuznetsov applicator

In appearance, the Kuznetsov applicator is a set of small spikes that can be plastic or even metal. At the same time, the shape of the spikes in such “devices” may be different, but the one used by Kuznetsov is bifurcated and has the least inconvenience, since it does not scratch the skin. The density of the spikes, as well as their length, can also be different.

The spikes are attached to some kind of base (oilcloth, rag, etc.). At the moment, there are a great many variations - they produce belts, rugs and even slippers with spikes. For the treatment of cervical osteochondrosis, Kuznetsov's applicator is used in the form of a small roller, and, for example, for problems with the thoracic region, a small rug can be used.

In general, Kuznetsov's applicator may look different, but in most cases it is a number of small spikes installed on a surface that can be conveniently applied to one or another part of the body.

Impact on the body

Kuznetsov's applicator is used for cervical osteochondrosis according to the same principle. That is, the spikes affect certain points, more precisely, the entire area where they are located. As a result, irritation of nerve endings leads to the stimulation of various metabolic functions, due to which the development of regenerative processes occurs, since nutrients begin to enter the cartilage and bone tissues in the required amount. In addition, inflammatory processes pass and blood flow normalizes.

In general, the use of the Kuznetsov applicator for osteochondrosis of the cervical region allows:

  • reduce pain or even completely eliminate it;
  • normalize the psychological state;
  • improve concentration;
  • increase the sensitivity of the peripheral nervous system;
  • relieve tension from the muscles of the neck;
  • restore healthy sleep.

Moreover, the positive device of the indicator affects not only in the immediate area of its application, but also on the state of the whole organism.

However, one should not assume that Kuznetsov's applicator is a panacea for all diseases. Therefore, in no case should you neglect the main course of treatment. According to the official position of Western medicine, this indicator alone is not able to stop cervical osteochondrosis.

Contraindications

Unfortunately, each medicine and all medical devices have their own contraindications, which should be read. Kuznetsov's applicator was no exception, which cannot be used for cervical osteochondrosis:

  • during pregnancy, since there will be a strong effect on the entire body, which can unpredictably affect the development of the fetus;
  • in the presence of malignant tumors, since the indicator is able to simulate their growth;
  • patients with alcoholism and drug addiction, as their nervous system is largely suppressed;
  • with epilepsy;
  • with exacerbation of chronic diseases;
  • with heart and lung failure;
  • in diseases of the skin.

In addition, simple safety rules should not be ignored when using the mat. Many patients believe that the more time they spend with Kuznetsov's applicator, the faster osteochondrosis of the cervical region will pass. As a result, they set the indicator on all night or go to bed on it, which in the end, instead of good, brings only harm to health. The author of the system himself recommends allocating no more than half an hour for the implementation of one procedure.

Treatment system

To obtain a healing effect, the Kuznetsov applicator should be used according to the recommendations below.

  1. With osteochondrosis of the cervical region, an applicator in the form of a roller or strap is bought. If the disease has formed in other departments, then rugs of various sizes are suitable for use, they should be laid out on a soft base, for example, on foam rubber, the thickness of which should not exceed 3 cm.
  2. The patient slowly lies down on the Kuznetsov applicator or presses it to the affected area with elastic bandages. If rollers are used, then they must be placed immediately under the neck, lower back and knees.
  3. If the patient lies down on the applicator, then you need to lie on it for no more than 30 seconds, after which the position of the body should be changed.
  4. The total time for the procedure should be 15-30 minutes, no more!

The use of applicators should not be haphazard. It is optimal to perform several courses a year, while spending up to 3 weeks on one of them, after which take a break for at least a week, and preferably 3-4 weeks.

With sensitive skin, the choice of applicator should fall on models with a high density of spikes. If an attempt to lie down on the indicator brings acute pain, then you can try to apply the rugs to the right places and press on them, thus adjusting the force of the impact to the level of acceptable pain. For hard-to-reach places in such cases, you will need an assistant.

Before using the Kuznetsov applicator, you should get the approval of your doctor or an experienced acupuncturist. If they do not indicate the presence of contraindications, they can help with the choice of form and control the results of exposure.

As an alternative, the Lyapko applicator can be used, which is also often used for cervical osteochondrosis. It can be found in the form of rugs, plates, slippers, rollers and so on. This type of indicator consists of metal spikes mounted on soft rubber. All spikes are additionally opened with various metals useful for the body: copper and nickel, gold and silver, zinc and the like.

With osteochondrosis of the cervical region, the use of the Lyapko applicator will require the help of another person who will put pressure on the indicator to obtain the desired effect. This simple device should also be used in courses, and the consequences of its use are similar to the Kuznetsov applicator.

It should be understood that the use of indicators should be carried out as an additional tool in the fight against osteochondrosis of the cervical region, since this disease is quite insidious and requires an integrated approach to obtain a speedy result. At the same time, the use of applicators will be only an auxiliary method of influence, in no case should one place all hopes only on them, and before implementing any wellness procedures, it is important to first visit an experienced specialist.
